Pete Kosel

Pete Kosel is the author of the famous Flutomat, a JavaScript programme based on Peter L. Hoekje's spreadsheet that made it possible to design the dimensions of a flute directly in a browser.

Since it was first posted online, this script has been reproduced, adapted and improved in numerous ‘flutomats’ and other ‘calculators’, both online and offline.

Pete Kosel's website, which contained Flutomat as well as advice on making flutes from plastic pipes, has not been online for years, but copies can still be found on the web, particularly on archive.org.
